A Magen David Adom team pronounced her death at the scene.

The victim, 33-year-old mother of four from Tiberias, was working as in ticket sales at Shekamim Beach on the Kinneret. Police said that the woman had run across the road, and they did not have sufficient time to stop before hitting her.

Also Friday night, a motorbike rider was fatally injured in an accident in Tel Aviv. An MDA spokesman reported that the man was taken to the city's Ichilov Hospital, and that the details of the accident were under investigation.

Earlier Friday, a young man and a child were killed in an accident on Route 40, between Kiryat Gat and Kama junction. The two, members of the same family, were in a taxi on the way to a wedding in Rahat. Three others were injured in the accident.
