Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski hinted that Tuesday's bulldozer terror attack in central Jerusalem, reportedly perpetrated by an Arab resident of east Jerusalem, threatened the employment of many east Jerusalem Arabs.

"We should reconsider the employment of these people," he told Channel 10.
"We see how, after the Shin Bet and Mossad do wonderful work and throw terror out the door, it comes back through the window. [In the hands of terrorists] tools of construction become opportunities for attacks," he added.
Lupolianski was in the area of the attack when he heard a commotion and rushed over to the scene.
Public Security Minister, Avi Dichter, also arrived to the scene of the attack, where he stated that "unfortunately this is the third violent incident this year in which a lone terrorist struck victims in Jerusalem merely because they are Jews."
"I have no doubt that this terrorist and the previous ones this year do not represent the residents of east Jerusalem," Dichter continued. "The overwhelming majority are regular people who work in various places in the city - unfortunately a small portion of them take part in terror attacks."
Responding to a reporter's question, Dichter said he did not think the three recent attacks constituted the beginning of a third intifada.
