In his warning, Nasrallah said that the results and repercussions of another war would exceed that of the inconclusive, month-long 2006 clash between Israel and Hizbullah.

Israeli soldiers, he said, "will be destroyed in our mountains, valleys, homes and cities along with your state, which usurped our holy land."

"The army of this enemy will see on the ground and in the fists and eyes of the mujahideen (fighters) what it never imagined seeing," Nasrallah added.

His comments at a graduation ceremony aired Sunday on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV came after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel would hit back without restrictions if the guerilla group attacked again.

Last week the Prime Minister's Office issued a cautionary travel warning, informing all Israelis who are abroad that Hizbullah intended to abduct or attack Israeli citizens overseas in revenge for the killing of the Islamist organization's operations chief Imad Mughniyeh in Damascus in February, which has been attributed to the Mossad.

The Prime Minister's Officer's recommendations, as published on the office's Web site, urged Israelis to pay more attention to unusual conduct around them, reject tempting and unexpected business and recreation offers, and avoid taking in or hosting unexpected or suspicious guests in their hotel rooms or homes.

The recommendations suggested further to avoid remote areas, especially after dark, and to insist on being around familiar and reliable people. Finally, it was recommended to change one's daily routine every once in a while, including hotels, walking paths, restaurants and recreation sites.
