Ehud Goldwasser of Nahariya

Ehud "Udi" Goldwasser, was born in Nahariya on July 18, 1975, to Miki and Shlomo Goldwasser. He had two younger brothers, Yair, 29, and Gadi, 26.

He married Karnit in 2005, after a nine-year relationship.

After finishing his mandatory army service in the Givati Brigade's Tzabar (Cactus) Battalion, he toured Australia on a motorcycle for six months.

At the time of his capture he was studying environmental engineering at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
