This is definitely a dessert version, and not the form Mom usually made. From Mom's notebooks.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2
    Cream butter and sugar together with hand mixer or stand mixer. Add egg yolks, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice and cottage cheese. Blend well.

    Stir in well-drained noodles and raisins.
  4. 4
    Beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Fold into noodle mixture.
  5. 5
    Pour into buttered baking dish. Bake 45 minute Serve warm.
