Ingredients1 1/4 cups flour

Instructions
Sift 1 cup flour with sugar, salt and baking powder. In another bowl mix together the egg and milk. Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture gradually, stirring until smooth. Add the shortening. Peel bananas, cutting crosswise into halves or quarters. Roll the banana pieces in the remaining flour and then dip them in the batter. Fry in oil for 4-6 minutes. Serves 2.
