The casualties were identified at Mahmoud Zoabi, 18, and Kasem Zoabi, 18, from the village of Ma'asar.

The accident, a three-car collision, seemingly took place when one car skidded and hit a car on the opposite side of the road.

A firefighting team which was called to the scene freed victims who were stuck in the wreckage, and a Magen David Adom team treated those injured, before they were evacuated to Afula's Emek Medical Center

In a separate incident Friday night, a ten-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Or Yehuda.
